Nike X One Piece Tee

This tee was created as a collaboration between One Piece and Nike. It is the meeting of the two giants in the industry. Any anime fan can agree that One Piece is in the mount rushmore of anime for its longevity and popularity. Additionally, Nike is the largest fashion brand in the world. The collaboration between the two is in many ways iconic.

The design on the back is a jolly roger that Luffy himself drew on Laboon, a giant sperm whale they met in Whiskey Peak. Also the Red in the Nike logo is a nod back to the Red Line where the Whiskey Peak is located and many fans hypotheses the final destination in One Piece.

With the tee, nike has also released three Air Max Plus inspired by Devil Fruits and exclusive trading cards for the one piece trading card game.

Design(4.5) - The front design is clean, however I am quiet disappointed on the back design, and I am sure many one piece fans can agree. I will give them some credit as maybe the designers were going for the concept of what if Luffy was given creative control to design the tee? I am sure this is the tee he would have came up with.

Story(6.8) - Two giants in the industry meeting and collaborating.

Signature(5.7) - this isn’t the first anime collab by Nike(Yu Gi Oh) and also not the first shoes/shirt collab by One Piece(Crocs, Puma, Vans) Nothing unique other than the two giants meeting.

Quality(6.7) - Cotton Tee by Nike and DTF printing.

Value(7.2) - At $48 it is very affordable, good quality tee, great for all season.
